Mechanical welder

This is where you will be working
You are going to work as a mechanical welder at SNA Europe [Benelux] in Helmond. A company that specializes in making and selling quality Bahco brand tools.

Do you have two right hands, a MBO diploma in a technical field, or similar practical experience and do you like to work physically? Then you are perfect for this job! As mechanical welder weldshop you are responsible for the smooth running of the band saw production.

The department where you will be working is responsible for making band saws to length. These band saws are made one by one according to the wishes of the customer, which is why there are already more than 350 different types. This process includes cutting to length, welding, annealing, grinding and applying the protective strip (over the teeth) of the saw. Finally, these saws must also be packaged in the appropriate boxes, including the associated stickers and packing lists.

• Working in shifts (between 06.00 and 18.00 hours)
• At least an above average gross salary starting at € 2.196 per month (€ 13,34 per hour), but higher salary is possible depending on your experience as a welder

This you bring along

• At least a MBO in a technical field (preferably in Metal)
• Good command of the Dutch or English language in connection with safety on the work floor and understanding of work instructions
• Physically able to perform heavy work
• Availability of 38 hours per week
• Preferably some work experience as a welder, production worker or in a similar position

Do you also have knowledge of and experience with welding, or have you previously made band saws? Then you have an advantage, which we can express in a higher starting salary! Finally, you preferably live in (the area of) Helmond, Eindhoven, Deurne, Venlo or Weert.
